I'm writing two small java programs, the first is a game of life simulation, and the other is a simple snake eyes / shut the box game. The idea will be that these fully commented projects will give newbies to java a reasonable idea of a completed program. I think if I actually get this done, I'll do one based on a package or two. The source will be completely free and [likely] devoid of license, available from our code snippet SVN repos (details later).
